Willian in London

OFFICIAL: Willian to Chelsea

Willian has finally found his future destination as he agrees a deal with the London side big spenders. It was cut and dried, Willian's next stop was going to be Tottenham. His medical was completed and he was just to sign for the White Hart Lane side but in the last second, Chelsea knocked on the door and Willian changed his mind. The fairy tale about Willian's future destination ended happily, as long as you're an Chelsea fan.

Chelsea confirmed the signing this morning on their official homepage that a deal between both the club (Anzhi) and the player has been reached.

"Chelsea Football Club can confirm an agreement has been reached with both Willian and his club Anzhi Mackhachkala for the transfer of the Brazilian player. The transfer is subject to a work permit hearing this Wednesday."

Signing Willian means players like Mata could be leaving as Mourinho is said to prefer Oscar and Hazard.
